Regular readers might have noticed that we didn’t post in the past two months. We are really sorry about that. We were busy raising angel-funding for our startup during this period. Since we have secured the funding we needed, (Thanks to our angel investors!) everything will be back to normal now.
Thanks so much for all your support so far. We promise that we will have more great posts in the near future.
Think you know the impact of the Internet? You probably should think again.
Right now, there are 31 Billion searches on Google every month. In 2006, this number was only 2.7 Billion.
Web and mobile technologies have empowered people moving ideas at unprecedented scale.
It took CNN 20 years to reach 100 million viewers. However, it took Yahoo! only 5 years, MySpace 3 years, and YouTube less than 2 years to reach the same achievement.
Believe it or not. We are living in exponential times.
Facebook took 4 years and 6 months to hit 100 Million Users. Growing from 100 to 200 million users? Only 8 months.
However, not every businesses are able to take full advantage of the power of the Internet. Why some companies were able to scale their businesses in such a short time and some didn’t? How businesses differentiated themselves in this fast changing and highly competitive marketplace? We don’t pretend to know the answer but we love to share what we have found and to learn from readers like you.
